Alpha Veterinary Services

Alpha Veterinary Services is an independent, AAHA-accredited animal hospital in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Hello Pet owners! As dogs have been in my life since i was born (almost 60 years) we have experienced many veterinary visits and emergencies. Before I was local to this area we would make the drive to CHEAT LAKE ANIMAL HOSPITAL for most if not all of our veterinary needs, until 1 day I decided to try ALPHA VETERINARY, please note that I am not in any way slamming CHEAT LAKE (other than price) . After taking my 5 months old male Golden Retriever to cheat lake for his initial check up and shots,(and a slight worm issue) I decided to get his follow up appointment at ALPHA. Our now almost 1 year old Golden will be seen and cared for at ALPHA (DR. Z) staff and veterinary assistants are caring and very helpful, Dr's are extremely caring, helpful, very knowledgeable and even enthusiastic about caring for my dog, noting that my golden is an extremely GOOD dog, but also an extremely curious and ORNERY dog that prompts his own needed vet visits, lol. During visits we arE NEVER rushed out and our visits are very thorough and we arr not used to that. Seems at the other vet we were always kinda rushed, again I am not slamming CHEAT but after all the years there I feel the Quality of veterinary care ALPHA is excellent and I will continue to to trust ALPHA and DR ZIGLER with all of our veterinary needs, I am not one to write reviews, this may be my 3rd or 4th ever but I feel when a business truly deserves a thumbs up without asking for one I will give credit when it's due, and it this case IT DEFINITELY WAS DUE! I can't say enough great things about Dr. Amy at Alpha Vet. She helped me navigate complex and extremely time-constrained legal procedures for flying my pet from the US to the Netherlands. I can tell she truly cared - she texted me dozens of times double- and triple-checking data and ensuring the status was tracked in near-real time. This is the kind of service that truly goes above and beyond to put pets and their owners at ease during incredibly stressful life changes. Highly recommend, and thank you Dr. Amy!
