We currently have a 15-year-old feline patient, along with two other animals, under the care of LVC. We recently contacted the clinic to schedule an urgent appointment due to a significant decline in her health, and we were able to secure an appointment within 24 hours. Unfortunately, her condition deteriorated further, necessitating after-hours emergency care. We informed the emergency clinic of our scheduled appointment and her worsening symptoms, and they advised us to come in immediately. Upon arrival, following an hour's drive, we were informed that the presence of walk-in patients had resulted in an approximate 2 to 2.5-hour wait. They suggested an alternative clinic, but upon contacting them, we were informed of a 5-hour wait. We decided to remain at the initial clinic for the shorter wait. Shortly after this decision, the same technician informed us that our wait time had extended to over 5 hours. This change was unexpected, as no new patients had arrived in the 15 minutes we had been present. Given that it was 11 PM, waiting for 5 hours without even a triage evaluation was highly challenging for all involved, especially considering our pre-scheduled appointment with LVC for the following morning. Consequently, we chose to return home, where our cat could be more comfortable. We spent the night attending to her and providing comfort. This morning, she was seen by the veterinarian, underwent immediate triage, followed by X-rays, blood work, fluid administration, and a range of medications to alleviate her pain and stimulate her appetite. If no improvement is observed within 48 hours, further investigations for lymphoma will be conducted. LVC has successfully managed our cat's emergency situations multiple times in the past, resolving issues on the first visit. While the outcome of this current situation remains to be seen within the next 48 hours, they demonstrated a clear understanding of the urgency and the need for prompt answers. Furthermore, should her condition not improve, we are already aware of the expected course of action. They ensured that all our questions were answered, and we felt as prepared as possible before leaving. We are pleased to report that since this morning's appointment, we have observed improvements in all critical aspects.

I find this clinic to be extremely clean. The staff was very nice. The exotic Vet is super great with my guinea pig. Guinea is so calm when she is holding him... And he won't let me even pick him up. I appreciate the staff being so kind gentle and calming.

Everyone here is so sweet! Dr. Yeager is so kind and the vet assistants are wonderful. Receptionists are lovely! They took such great care of my elderly kitty and answered any questions I had. Very affordable too!
