I ended up switching to Braden Run when I inherited my late parents' pets, and had absolutely horrendous, traumatic experiences seeking care for them at other vet offices. The tl;dr here is that Dr. McMillen, her techs, and her reception staff are unfailingly competent and compassionate, her prices are extremely reasonable (I can attest to this as an expert witness; I've sought treatment for animals with cancer, severe arthritis, thyroid issues, and kidney disease from pretty much every vet practice between Fairmont and Pittsburgh in the last 15 years, and if you think Braden Run is overpriced you must be new to pet ownership), and everyone at Braden Run went to a lot of trouble to make me and my animals feel comfortable and respected. I'm finding it hard to choose descriptors to characterize the quality of the care (and the general environment) at this practice, so you can pick your own favorites from my list: "outstanding," "excellent," "comprehensive," "Rockwell-like," and "reminds you of why living in a small town is actually a good thing sometimes." Best veterinary experience I've ever had, honestly. Lastly: My cats, who are dumb, high-strung, and severely mentally ill, all react to being treated at Braden Run like they're getting a spa day. I've had them escape from multiple vets/techs in the past, and also cause significant physical harm to themselves and others while trying to evade treatment. So I don't know what invisible voodoo Dr. McMillen does to keep them calm, but I hope she keeps doing it forever. I cannot overemphasize how great this veterinary practice is. You can trust them; they will take care of your animals right.

Dr McMillan took my border collie which was diagnosed with hip dysplasia soon after we got her she done prp injection and is soon to do another it's helped her so much no other vet around here goes above and beyond like she does she's going to do a stem cell at 2 years old she's amazing and her prices are reasonable with the cost of things today she also saved my chinchilla a few years back he's now almost 18 years it makes you rest easy when you know you got a amazing vet taking care of your babies Her staff is great too and the doc takes the extra time for you and you fur babies May God bless you Anita and you staff with all our hearts the rutan family
