Feel so lucky to have found this place!! Needed a quick stop to catch up on some rest during a road trip and booked last minute. Beyond impressed with the accommodations, and homemade breakfast. The views are wonderful, rooms cozy, and staff so friendly. Will be back!

The lake is the best part. We were fortunate enough to have good weather for kayaking and the owner insisted we use life vests (a plus in my book). It's a peaceful, quiet, beautiful lake. We were perplexed by the room, whose only amenity was a plug-in heater. No TV, no fridge, worn carpet, old, rusty lamps, and we had to pull the fan out of the old, leaky, extremely dirty window in order to shut it. There was one server covering dinner, and she seemed bothered by questions and overworked. The food was mediocre. Breakfast was surprisingly quite good, but the owner served us and she seemed to like some guests and be rude to others. You have been warned. It may be inexpensive--especially compared to other places to stay in the area--but I haven't seen a place like this in 40 years and I don't mean that in a good way. We were relieved that our stay was less than 24 hours.
