We took our cat here a few months ago for the very first time. He and his wife said we were not allowed in the exam room while they examined our cat. Red flag. He did bloodwork and said she had low thyroid. He gave us meds, along with the blood test results. and said she would be fine. Well, three days later she was still exactly the same even after faithfully giving her the med which he said she would need for the rest of her life. We looked at the bloodwork paper for the first time which we should have done immediately at his office but didn't. It showed our cat had a NORMAL THYROID LEVEL. We took her to another vet the very next day. and had her and the bloodwork rechecked and everything was normal. We showed the vet the bloodwork results and it was obvious that the results were wrong. Dr. Kreiter was very nice and accommodating but obviously made a mistake. He also charged us alot for just bloodwork ,exam and meds. That, and especially the fact that he misdiagnosed her and gave us meds for a condition which she did not have and those meds could have harmed her was why we did not go back.
