Dr. Maya Lantz is an excellent veterinarian! She was kind, caring, compassionate, and took time to answer all our questions. Our dog is 15 years old and Dr. Lantz thoroughly explained her health issues and showed so much compassion as we discussed “quality of life.” This is a very difficult subject that no one wants to face. Dr. Lantz was understanding and showed tremendous empathy during this conversation. I would highly recommend Rossmoyne Animal Hospital and Urgent Care Center and Dr. Lantz for the best care for your pet!

Our older cat had tumors in his stomach and was off an on doing well for the past few months. This past weekend he unfortunately took a quick turn for the worse. Our normal vet isn't open on the weekends so I reached out to Rossmoyne to see if they could see our cat. They immediately saw him. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful providing the testing and information we needed. The nurses and doctors treated me and our cat incredibly kindly. The circumstances sucked and it was wonderful to have their help.

Took my almost year old pup in because her normal vet was closed because she had been vomiting since 4 am. After some X-rays it was found she had an obstruction about the size of a half dollar. So into surgery she went. The staff was amazing throughout the whole ordeal!! So very thankful for them and the experience and compassion!!

Update to add: I called them as requested and my review remains the same. Do not visit here if you want compassionate treatment for ailing pets. They will recommend anything that gets them money before considering what is best for the pet. My senior dog is yelling out in pain, shaking when she tries to sit, and dragging her one paw. Our vet ran tests and imaging but could find nothing that we can treat. The past few days, our sweet girl has almost entirely stopped eating and walking. This place told us they wouldn’t do anything until we paid them for repeat tests. And then had the nerve to tell me that AMPUTATING the limb she drags is what we should do. This place is out for money and NOT compassionate care for suffering animals.
