One of my cats got wet FIP. I took him to an emergency vet and was told that treatment would cost $4500. Devastated, my wife and I called around to find a vet that would put him down since the emergency vet was very expensive. After calling Blair Animal Hospital, they said that they have treated cats for FIP for much cheaper than that and, after a reassuring talk, we scheduled an appointment with them at the earliest opening. We were able to order the medicine and get it shipped, but our cat still unfortunately passed away. After he had passed, we had gotten a call from Blair Animal asking how he was doing since the vet was concerned about him. After breaking the news to them, they sent us this wonderful letter in the mail (picture below). It honestly brought tears to my eyes. We decided to get our other two cats established their afterwards. When we had the visit for our cat with FIP, we mentioned how tight money was for us. They were up front about the cost of everything throughout that appointment. When we took our other two cats in for a new pet exam, the first thing they did was give us an itemized list of how much the exams were going to be. They told us why they recommended certain procedures and testing and, when I expressed that we were a little too tight on money this paycheck for everything, they were very happy to work with us to remove the amount of tests and procedures to get the cost down to something we could afford. They even gave us an itemized estimate for our next appointment! I don't leave a lot of reviews, but I love the staff here and felt I had to let people know how much I feel they genuinely care about what they do. I hope they do well and recommend them to anyone who asks. Thank you Blair Animal for everything you do!

Excellent Service from Dr. Darnley, Isaiah and Nicole! We are from out of state; however, while traveling in the area, our dog Jack needed emergency services. Thanks to Nicole's help and magic in scheduling, Dr. Darnley and Isaiah were able to see us immediately. The entire team at Blair Animal Hospital is absolutely wonderful!!! Dr. Winkler and the veterinary nurse that helped my dog were very loving and patient towards him. They treated him for tapeworms, flea/tick prevention, neck wounds and panosteitis. Felt safe leaving my dog in their hands and Dr. Winkler wonderfully encouraged me to ask questions on clarifying the plan for Judge's health. This was my first experience bringing my rescue dog to the vet and they showed me the prime example of how a trip to the vet should always be. Will keep this office in mind if anyone around me wants suggestions on a place to bring their fur baby.💕🐾
