I took a homeless kitty (from my block) to Animal Kingdom Vet Hospital today. He has been living the outdoor life for nearly a year now and is suffering the effects. Two of my neighbors and I worked together to get the kitty some help. The staff and doctor at the hospital were incredibly kind and helpful to the kitty and to my neighbors and I who were trying to help the kitty. Their prices were not outrageous and that was the biggest help. In today’s world, costs are out of this world and it is hard enough keeping our own animals healthy, much less getting a stray kitty the help it needs. The staff were competent and knowledgeable and welcoming and the vet was experienced, intelligent, flexible and friendly. I have decided, I am going to switch to Animal Kingdom for my own kitties based on the care and concern and affordability I saw given today.

I’ve been using Animal Kingdom/Animal Ark for years and for multiple pets. Every interaction I’ve had with every staff member has been professional, kind, and compassionate. Currently, I have a reactive dog that can be very difficult. Despite being a difficult and at times aggressive dog, staff has been kind, professional, and compassionate and continues to treat him as their own. Dr. Piersol has been his primary veterinarian for a few years now, and I cannot say enough about her care for him and her genuine interest in his health and quality of life. I’m very thankful for the Animal Ark/Kingdom services and the doctors and staff.

I want to thank the staff at Animal Kingdom for the kindness and compassion they showed me and my girl, Nyx. I had walked into the office out of desperation to get help for my cat, they could not see her immediately but she was seen within an hour. When the tech took us into a room she immediately took Nyx back to the doctor. The doctor came back in and gave me some options. She gave me time to consider my options and to make a few phone calls. I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put my girl down. The staff and the doctor gave me time to say goodbye to her alone until I was ready and stay with her the whole time. I sincerely appreciate and thank all of you for your kindness.

The office was rude from day one, our second appointment we waited in the room for over an hour maybe longer. The assistant wouldn’t didn’t want to look up our pets meds bc it was on the computer up front. They gave my dog a medicine that made he feel horrible, he couldn’t even walk. I called the office and it took an entire day to get a call back, the lady was rude and when I asked “what can I give my dog to feel better?” She responded “I do not know because as far as I know animals don’t talk”. Dr Pearce was nice but the place is dirty and unprofessional, they just want your money.

The staff here are very accommodating and understanding of my anxious and high energy dog. Prices are also fair. I’m happy to have a nice vet office so close to home for him! Thank you!!
