Prices are absolutely ridiculous. Pushed expensive unnecessary tests on us and delayed treatment on our dog. It felt like they didn't care. The dog ended up dying of an aggressive intestine tumor.. none of those tests would have detected it that they wanted to do. Would never use them again.

I'm a new client with a 12-week old puppy. So far we've only had one visit but everyone has been super nice and has gone out of their way to make it a positive experience for the pup. I'm looking forward to moving my other dog over here.

We have been going to Dillsburg Veterinary Center for a few years. Typically we go once a year for routine visits and the occasional upset belly. We have three dogs, a cat and parakeets. We have had an amazing experience every time and we find them to be extremely affordable. Recently, we found ourselves in an emergency situation. The team was incredibly accommodating and took time (they probably didn’t have) to care for our pet. We highly recommend DVC.

In 2024, my beagle, Ellie, started having a lot of blood in her urine, so I took her to Dillsburg Veterinary Center and she was diagnosed with a UTI. She was given medication but still kept bleeding. I took her back to the vet center repeatedly and was told every time that it was a UTI. This went on for a few months but the bleeding never stopped. It actually kept getting worse. Finally, I decided to get a second opinion at a different vet’s office. The vet there immediately ordered an ultrasound of her bladder and she was diagnosed with a “huge” cancerous bladder tumor. I was told she had about 3 months to live and they were right; she passed away in October of that year. Getting that cancer diagnosis was horrible but I wish Dillsburg Vet Center had brought the possibility to my attention after repeated unsuccessful attempts to treat a UTI. I would have had more time to spoil her and deal with the diagnosis if I had been informed she was so incredibly sick. The vet at the second hospital said the amount of blood in her urine was significantly higher than you’d ever see with a UTI. I know no veterinarian’s office is perfect but I can’t help but feel that Dillsburg dropped the ball here.
