I am an acupuncturist for people. Although I know and like several of the local veterinary acupuncturists and refer patients to all of them freely and enthusiastically, Kristin is the person I take my own animals to see.

Dr. Edwards is compassionate (with patients and caregivers), thorough, and detail-oriented, always seeking the best outcome for a quality life of the pet. When it was suggested I try acupuncture for my 11 year-old border collie who had lost much of her stamina and had difficulty getting up (forget about chasing her beloved Frisbees), I took her to Dr. Edwards for acupuncture. After the initial visit, my dog was again lively, playful, and able to stand without difficulty. I returned for another visit or two just to be sure, and 2 years later my dog is still able to stand on her own and chase Frisbees! I would like to add that due to Dr. Edwards dedication, insight, and plain old "caring," she recently suggested my dog's symptoms might not be old age but instead early stage renal disease which can be treated if caught early. Thankfully, we had the test done and are now on a protocol that we hope will keep my best friend feeling AOK until the time we need to part. Your pets can't talk to you but Dr. Edwards has the experience, education and innate gift to understand what is troubling them and successfully treat them. If you love your pet as much as it loves you, and it hasn't been feeling well, I'd suggest giving it the gift of a possible new lease on life by making an appointment with Dr. Edwards. My dog is sure happy I did and so am I.
